RV Plumbing is one of the many facets of RV ownership. RVs come equipped with several plumbing systems.
There are two types of sinks inside RVs, the kitchen sink and the bathroom vanity (or lavatory) sink. Both sinks have their water supply system with fresh water stored in tanks to provide fresh drinking water and for sinks and showers. The kitchen sink water supply system is usually found under the countertop on the outside of the rig and is connected to fresh water in a holding tank. The bathroom sink water supply system is usually accessed by opening a cabinet door, or drawer, underneath the sink and finding a water line connected to a freshwater tank. With both systems, when you turn on the faucet you will witness, at first, just air escaping from various lines.
